I undertake commissions, so if you would like me to make something similar to an existing sculpture, take on a new subject matter, or respond to a space in your house or garden with new ideas, please get in touch.
Stainless steel, 190 x 90 cm, 2015-16
This was a commission to make a wall mounted wire sculpture of a tree. It is loosely based on some Scotts Pine trees near to where I used to live
Stainless steel on a walnut base, 65 cm high, 2010
The brief was to make an upright seahorse 65cm high to fit into a particular place in the clients living room. Beyond that it was up to me. I had never made a segmented, organic form before, and tried to combine it with an underwater quality.
MERMAIDS 2 & 3
On two occasions I was approached by people who had liked the first mermaid I had made and just wanted something with a similar feel to go in their gardens. I was left free to come up with new styles and poses, which was nice.
I was asked to make an ornamental panel to go in front of a rarely used fireplace in a client's living room.
It consists of a stainless steel frame with the wire work welded to the inside of the frame. A fabric covered plywood panel is mounted inside.
I am also available to do portraits in charcoal or oil.
The client asked for a mural of a tree to go in their baby son's room.
